​Dr Ariane Neuber

Veterinary Dermatologist

Ariane completed her veterinary medicine degree at the University of Munich and after a spell in small animal practice returned to university to achieve her doctorate. Following an Internship at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, she moved north to take up the Senior Clinical Scholarship (Residency) in Veterinary Dermatology at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and achieved her dermatology certificate in 2002. The residency comprised a three year intense programme of specialisation in veterinary dermatology. In 2005 she successfully took the examination to become a Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology and in 2008 she was recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as a Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology. Ariane is currently the president of the BVDSG and Chief Examiner for the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology.

Dr Steve Shaw

Veterinary Dermatologist

Steve Shaw qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1987. He spent 4 years in practice before becoming Junior clinical fellow in dermatology at the Animal Health Trust Newmarket. He gained his RCVS Certificate in Dermatology in 1992 and his PhD studying atopic dermatitis in dogs in 2000. From 2001 to 2006 he was head of dermatology at the AHT and from 2006 to 2009 worked at Rutland House Referrals in St Helens. Steve now works as an independent dermatology consultant part-time whilst studying from the ECVD and RCVS Diplomas in Dermatology. Steve is the National Dermatology Advisor in Dermatology to Guide Dogs and is currently an RCVS examiner for the Cert VD.

Miss Geeta Sundhoo

Veterinary Nurse Chiltern Referrals


Geeta joined our team in 2007. She began nursing in 1998 working in a small animal practice and gained her qualification in veterinary nursing in 2002. She then moved on to work in a small animal veterinary hospital where she gained her AI Assessor Certificate which allows her to train student veterinary nurses. She is currently studying for her Level 1 Accreditation in Anaesthesia and Critical Care.

Mrs Caroline Linton

Practice Manager Summerleaze

Caroline has worked at Summerleaze since 2002 and she deals with Ariane's bookings, insurance matters and correspondence. She started work as a Receptionist but became our Practice Manager 2 years ago. She has a miniature schnauzer Maisie and Megan, a whippet that came in here as a stray. One of Caroline's daughters Aimee is currently training to be a vet at Bristol University.
